Role Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Partner – Systems, will support the Finance Manager in ensuring a profitable business and will focus on enhancing and managing all budget related tools, financial modelling and systems for Kicks Entertainment. This is a new position in our Finance team and a 12 month contract role.
The Finance Partner – Systems (Budgets & Tools) will:
- Build all budgets and financial tools for Kicks Entertainment Events
- Be responsible for Xero ‘actuals’, data entry and link creation in Event Budgets
- Develop & maintain all Google Doc Tools for the Finance team
- Provide price analysis year on year and support the Operations team with supplier negotiation and management
- Build scenarios for financial modelling
- Coordinate and participate in all Project Budget Meetings
- Support the Finance Coordinator in bookkeeping tasks
- Provide Live Nation compliance support
Candidate Profile
- Excellent analytical & reporting skills, experienced with financial systems and accounting software (Xero)
- Advanced Excel skills and data management
- Passion for spreadsheets and a focus on data accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high-standard of work
- A passion for working in the music and events industry and an understanding of the unique hours required around events launches and delivery
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance / Data Management would be preferred
- 5+ years finance experience in an accounting / finance / business role
- Experienced in financial systems, analysis and modelling
- Events or Music a plus, however not mandatory
